• Mystery Novels, NC History, Writing Life

When he was a litigator in Charlotte NC, mystery writer Landis Wade was accustomed to writing. His work as an attorney involved stories, facts, and tension but try as he might he couldn’t always control the outcomes in court. When he started writing books he realized he could control everything. In hosting a podcast featuring writers, Landis learned from over 500 interviews how best to approach the writing life, the inevitable rejections, the quest for the perfect word, the discipline, and sense of humor required for this pursuit. Wade compiled those quotes into books too.
